The car was stunningly quick and became reliable, too, as 1991 became 1992. We had the better of our opposition in every department - grip, balance, traction, top speed - yet Nigel still wrung the maximum from the car, taking it right to the edge of the envelope. Our telemetry guy, Paddy Lowe (now with McLaren), was so impressed with Nigel's pole lap at Silverstone in 1992 that he sent copies of the data printouts to selected mates for Christmas! Mine still has pride of place on my fridge door.
