Because the FW14 was aerodynamically superior to everything else on the grid, virtually no bodywork changes were made to the FW14B. Instead, the team added active suspension and the hitherto unheard-of concept of traction control. For 1993, rule changes cut the size of the wings and also the rear tires, which Williams countered with their FW15C.
